KIRSTY COX trained at STRATFORD UPON AVON and at the ROYAL SCOTTISH ACADAMY OF MUSIC AND DRAMA. She graduated in 2000. Since graduating, her theatre work has included Angus/Witch/Macduff's son in MACBETH (Long Overdue Theatre Company-UK tour), Edwina in THE BEGUILED (King's Head), Lady Macbeth in A BEGINNERS GUIDE TO SHAKESPEARE (Bristol Old Vic), Margaret in WOYZECK (Tobacco Factory Productions), Mary Reason in MARY, MARY (Theatre West), Kristine Linde in A DOLL'S HOUSE (SWAN), the servant in THE HOUSE OF BERNARDA ALBA (Alma Tavern), and Nancy in OLIVER TWIST (for Lanternfish Productions at the Tricycle Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse and UK tour).
She has also worked with Raindog, MacRobert Productions, National Trust Theatre Projects and Impact. She has been in several short films, which include roles in A RIGHT GOOD READ and SEA OF TROUBLE and as well as one of the lead parts in GREETINGS, she has also played roles in a number of other independent feature films such as THE WEDDING ENSEMBLE. Kirsty also appeared as Annie Sutherland in DR FINLAY: FURTHER ADVENTURES OF A BLACK BAG (BBC R4), with JOHN GORDON SINCLAIR.
