MEL STEPHENSON trained at GUILDFORD SCHOOL OF ACTING and then did a Post Graduate in screen acting at REDROOFS TV AND FILM SCHOOL.  Her theatre experience includes Madam Mina in SLEEPLESS (The Landmark), the title role in PERSEPHONE (Langdon Down Centre) and the title role again in LULLABY FOR PEARL (London Arts House). 

Mel has been in several short films such as THE LIBERATOR, MILESTONE, EX LIBRIS, MUSICAL CHAIRS and LIVE FEED I and II.  TV experience includes motion capture work for the character of Destiny Angel in GERRY ANDERSON'S CAPTAIN SCARLET.  Amongst other things she is a skilled Martial Artist, plays the piano (grade 7) and is an advanced skier.
